Dr. Douglas Fife has extensive experience during residency, fellowship, and private practice in surgery of the skin, also called “Dermatologic Surgery.” Skin cancers, abnormal moles, cysts, lipomas, and other growths that are either dangerous or symptomatic can be removed surgically in an outpatient setting without the need for general anesthesia. Other growths such as moles on the face, scars, or other unsightly spots can be removed solely for cosmetic improvement of the skin. Dr. Fife’s experience of performing thousands of surgeries on the face allows him to remove these growths in a way that makes the ultimate scar as small and inconspicuous as possible.
